GUERILLA
MARKETING
--
According
to Wikipedia,
Guerrilla Marketing is "an unconventional system of
promotions that relies on time, energy and imagination
rather than a big marketing budget. Typically, guerrilla
marketing campaigns are unexpected and unconventional... and
consumers are targeted in unexpected places."
IN
PRACTICE
--
Anyone
who's traveled to areas of the major cities where
construction is in progress or windows are boarded up, have
seen a series of repetitive small posters, pasted together
for greater impact. This same concept can be used in smaller
towns on business storefront windows or even interior walls
for the same effect.
--
500 - 12"
x 18" posters only cost
$199 --
you can do some great *guerilla marketing with them.
--
Another
idea is to roll up your posters with a rubber band around
them and have people hand them out at public events, the
mall, campus, or even street corners. If the design is
'suitable for wall hanging' people will gladly accept
it.
--
An even
better way to get your message to a large number of people
is to offer to help sponsor an event or cause by printing
the posters. The group gets free posters and promotion, and
you get your name in front of everyone who sees the posters.
TIP: Keep your logo or business name small on the poster, so
as not to detract from the primary message.

--
Remember,
not only does everyone who gets a poster, see your message;
but everyone they know that sees it on their wall.
